Lunch specials where awesome, steak/shrimp service highly recommend.

Stopped here for lunch on our way back to Austin from South padre. Lots of options and food came out so super quick! I recommend the fajitas!

Good food but serves was off

Great food @ a reasonable price! Even have a full menu just as Texas opens back up from this democratic lead attempted overthrow of the current administration.. Both breakfast lunch n dinner are absolutely home style cooking. Easy access, plenty of parking. What else could you want? Awesome service, great food and even Ice cream.. Just be careful, This town is a massive speed trap! MASSIVE! Plotted, Scouts out!

Julia's, in my opinion is an excellent restaurant with a very friendly staff. I really like eating there.

What a lovely surprise! Like walking into a 1950s diner! The decor is so cute and cheerful. Our server Sebastian was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be going back to try the rest of their menu. :)

Just stopped by accident and were amazed. Huge selection of food for every one. Junior was a great waiter! Not one bad word to say about this place!

REAL homestyle cooking has its ups and downs. When you make food at home the quality is always good, but some days are fantastic. It's the same at Julia's. I've never had to send food back but I have been stunned at times at how wonderful the food can be. In a good way.......Always more interesting than a franchise.

This is a historic area in Los Fresnos. It's been around for a long time. Julia's stays up to date and their food is delicious. Service is usually good. During our last visit they took awhile to serve our meal. It was worth the wait.

Ordered the BBQ plate but it tastes like it had been reheated several time. That the meat was stiff differently not fresh.

This place is my favorite restaurant in Los Fresnos. The food is always delicious. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food always comes out fresh and quick. I love how the menu has a nice variety of Tex-Mex & American. The wait staff is very friendly! Always enjoy going to Julia’s.

One of the best family owned restaurants in all Los Fresnos, the menu is large with tons of choice and varieties! Fast and very nice service. Great for friends and family to hang out. Has an ice cream bar also.

Wonderful place! We stop here every year on our trip to South Padre Island. I am a vegetarian and when I asked about options the waiter was very helpful and knew what ingredients were in the food. He made suggestions and substitutions to create a super delicious veggie meal that was not on the menu. Food came out fast. They were on top of everything!

The food portion and the service was superb!!! Will definitely eat there again when I'm in town!

This is definitely one of the spots that it's little town is known for it's been around for a while and seems to be getting better with time..

Good food ,nice looking restaurant and the service was very friendly you will like it here located in Lis Fresnos. The plate I orded was the machacado plate and it was delicious as well as the beans and to top it all off the price was even better. You all have a nice place there at Julia's.

Of the many Mexican Restaurants I have eaten at in the Rio Grande Valley, none have matched the quality and quantity of Julia's restaurant at their prices. My entire family rates this as their favorite Mexican restaurant in the lower valley, and we frequently drive 30 minutes just so we can eat Julia's, instead of somewhere else. The selection is amazing, food is great and in large quantities, and overall I have never had a problem with the restaurant.

They have wonderful food, and a large assortment, so even the most picky eater can find something. Very nice and patient serving and cooking staff. I had the beef fajita taquitos (Mexican tacos) with rice and charro beans, it was well made and very delicious! It was not over priced and everyone else at the table enjoyed their meal too.

Just ok...nothing exceptional. Overall I was somewhat disappointed with their food quality.

The botans here are great! Service could have been better. The food was good. The sweet tea was amazing! Didnt get a chance to try the ice cream but looked good.

My kids say their Grandma Julia has the best food in the world! ❤️ We try to visit twice a year if we are lucky (wish we could visit more). We eat all three meals there when we visit as we can't get enough. Their breakfast tacos and enchiladas are the best! We can't find authentic Mexican food that comes close. My kids wonder why their momma (me) doesn't have the same cooking skills. 😂. If you are in the Los Fresnos area, I would highly recommend this family owned business. #supportsmallbusinesses

I don't live in Los Fresnos but I still get to Julia's on average once a month. Their Mexican food is very reliable and reasonably priced. The service has always been friendly too.

Yes they were busy buy we had to wait for a menu and others who came in later were served first. After ordering had to wait 30 minutes to get our breakfast. Othera that came in much later than us were served shortly after. Never was offered a coffee refill so they got cold. Had to ask for our check and the guy asked which waitress. Youngest, older and oldest. Had no idea how she compared to the others and he said So you don't know who your waitress is loudly. Was a bit embarrassing. Not going back.
